Jackal Hut 2.0

As mentioned previously, I managed to jam in a bunch of hut trips in January.  Wasn't planned, just things kept popping up and well, I've got time on my hands.  This is a few shots from the 2nd time up to Jackal in two weeks.  Amazing how much the snowpack can change in a week. South facing aspects were backed crust from earlier warm, sunny days.  3" of new overnight and the promise of 3-6" during the stay kept our spirits up that the ride out would be good.

Second of three visits to Jackal.  Pretty nice place.

Unfortunately, El Torro was missing.

Clouds, sunlight and fresh tracks.

More clouds, sunlight and fresh tracks.

The crew.

Mt of the Holy Cross is pretty much buried.  More to come too.
